They're Not Local

But sliced and sprinkled with sugar, they make a lovely addition to cereal. Our local growing season is abour 3 weeks in June but Driscoll's fruit comes all the way from California at a fairly reasonable price.

@phil_howcroft actually sugar serves enough purpose; it draws out the juice and makes them taste richer and fresh from the vine.
