One of the saddest duties of the holiday season, but certainly necessary. Of course some households do leave their decorations up year-round, but that seem like cheating to me.
My tree is still up.haha traveled the w tire winter break, so I a. Going to enjoy it one more week. :0) I hate taking it down. B and w is perfect for the mood...
our tree is down but the snow keeps on coming down on top of our outdoor ornaments in our apple tree.

I'm always bummed when it's time for the decorations to go away. We were supposed to put our tree away this past weekend, but we never got around to it.
I'm always reluctant to take down the decorations. We used to leave the lights up on our Italian cypress, it was so hard to get them all the way to the top, that we would just leave them up year after year until they sunbaked out. Now we just don't decorate as much.
I like the b & w tones to this neat candid scene. This is always the worst part of the season taking down all the trimmings. I keep the outdoors simple, but inside is another story. Finally done with this task!
