The Ringling is the legacy of circus owner and art collector John Ringling. The Ringlings built their winter residence and an art museum which was left to the state of Florida after their death. The estate now includes a circus museum, a theater and a library. Today I visited the gardens, the library, both museums and the lower level of the grand Venetian palace that was the Ringlings' home. And this was after we had visited a school for the morning. Quite a full day!
