One of the ways I have tried to be “greener” was to switch from dryer sheets to dryer balls, a natural reusable product from New Zealand, made from wool. The first batch I bought were perfectly serviceable but boring white woolen balls. Then I discovered these on Amazon and lost my heart to a set of 6 different handmade creatures. Just imagine these guys bouncing around in your dryer, cheerfully doing their job. Who could resist?
@kjarn Dryer sheets are synthetic fiber impregnated with fabric softener meant to reduce wrinkles and static electricity in the clothes dryer. You add it to a load of clothes and use it t once. The dryer ball is all natural, reusable and reduces drying time. Vast improvement in many ways.
