205 days into my year long making of a daily still life. The Cherry Laurel is a highly toxic tree of the Prunus genus which has cyanotoxins inn every part, including the seeds. When consumed by humans these cyanotoxins will convert to cyanide gas when they make contact with stomach acid. Very nasty!

Wow. I wonder if that what we refer to as wild cherries. I never have been tempted to ingest any part of them but now know I won't.
