233 days into my year long making of a daily still life. this is a Kirishima azalea also known as Hire azalea and Kurume azalea.

I am liking there B&w’s. Although you cannot see the lovely colours of the flowers it shows the softness of the petals in comparison to the waxy leaves and hard stems.

The leaves look like blooms and are very delicate.
