Today began a new week and it started on a lovely note with another stunning sunrise out my back deck. So grateful for a new day, such a perfect beginning and a pretty darn good life.
I did get that wretched email today, the one that I was hoping not to get. The one that said that I didn't get the job. I wasn't terribly surprised as I hadn't aced the second interview, but was still a bit disappointed. I am looking forward to the next opportunity, though. It will be better for me. Maybe in a camera shop so that I can get lenses for a song. Or perhaps it's best for me not to work outside of the home now. Working is so overrated;-). I wasn't really looking forward to trying to juggle both home and work life (and 365 and other distractions/me time).

Beautiful sunrise capture, such nice warm tones in that early morning sky. Sorry you didn't get the job but the next one will be better. And I totally agree, working is highly over-rated.
So your back deck faces east - and you obviously can see the sun rise over the roofs of the houses. Must be nice for you! Decisions, decisions - the idea of no work is good but one must weigh the consequences. Something will turn up!

Drop dead gorgeous sunrise. Sorry about the email, Amanda. But you know some things happen for a reason, as stupid as that sounds. Enjoy your time being home with your family as long as you can. It flies by before you know it. Peace.
