...and how they photobombed my sunflower shot. I love them for that.
We don't see many exotic looking birds around us in Ohio, but I do love the bright yellow of these finches. They are usually pretty quick, but I caught this one somehow looking at me. Poser.
Must view large to see the bee if you care. He was a moving blur, but in there nonetheless.
@cheribug There were slim pickings left in this field. Only a few pretty ones left. I wanted to get a close up. But I liked this photobombed version best. Thanks, lady!
@darsphotos Aw, thanks kindly, my friend. Can't believe no one mentioned the song reference up until now. I've been singing it all day! Isn't that a crazy yellow bird?
@amandal I should have said more, Amanda. Love the bird. It is beautiful and so clear as is the bee. Cool song and I usually catch songs that are used as titles and use them once in a while myself. Sometimes I think people move through comments so fast that they forget. I never look at the small photos as they post as they are too small and cannot stand commenting on something I cannot see well. I have time also that a lot of people do not have much of.
@moreyoulessme I loved that they were all matchy like. Thanks so much, Jerri!!
@sbolden Thanks, Scott. It was not too shabby for a mostly dead sunflower field. I very much missed the peak, but was grateful for a few stray flowers and pleased that the pretty bird was there eating:).
@happysnap Thanks, Linda. I love matching things:)!
@bpaquette Thanks so much, my friend. Happy weekend. Any more of your break left? This is our last weekend, but it's a 3 day one. Kids are excited...so am I:)!
@superbeyotch Hey lady!! How have you been? Is it nice taking some time off of 365...do you feel like you got your life back? Thanks so much for your kind comments!
@pflaume Thanks, Lisa. So glad I got one with the bird up...the others he was looking down picking at seeds. Here he was probably saying, "What the heck are you looking at?"
@cathrinemitch I've loved these birds but never been quick enough. I was so glad that he happened to be here at the right time. So much better than a plain old flower shot, me thinks:). Thank you, lady...and happy weekend!
@amrita21 I did, too. Yellow is such a happy color. Thanks, kind Amrita!
@soboy5 Thank you, Danny. I am finding them all to be like that lately. Happy weekend!
@archaeofrog Yeah, I thought it was ok, too. I am seeing the shortfall of my camera lately. Photos tend to need lots of editing/sharpening. Better lens needed? Better camera? I'm stuck with what I have for now, but...sigh. It's not even been a year and I am ready for an upgrade.
@jamibann Buzzzz....glad you found it. It's like a look and find. Thanks, Issi!
@jsw0109 I love these birds. Thanks, Jeff. Happy weekend!
@eyesmile HA. You are funny. Aren't they so pretty and bright? Happy weekend, my friend!
@bpaquette Lucky lady. I'm glad that they go back next week, however...now that we are ready anyway. Oh the little bit of freedom that I'm going to get with 2 less for half the day:).
@rennes I know. So excited. My lens wasn't doing great capturing the details of the sunflower (I am starting to feel the need for an upgrade), but the bird and bee really made the shot!!
What are you wearing to the photo shoot today? No!! I'M wearing yellow and black. You have to pick something else!
Well, I can't change it either. Darn, now it's going to look like we coordinated on purpose. What dorks everybody will think we are.
Great timing, lady. :-)
I sort of looks like a bee in the center of the flower too, but I don't suppose there'd be anything there to attract one.
@gerry Thank you, kind sir.
@kareenking Thanks so much, Kareen!! Do you see these goldfinches by you, too?
@taffy I was so pleased with the color coordination!:) Thanks, Taffy!
@kalexa How funny. Glad I mentioned it. Thanks, lady!!
@bardejov You are sweet, my friend. Thanks so much for the fav. Isn't that a brilliant yellow bird?
@jodimuli You are fun, my friend. Thank you! And Ka-boom! Happy Friday. Freakin' weekend!:)
@wendyhgill Let me tell you bout...thanks, Wendy. Hope you are not mad at me for all of the mind worms. I love music.:) Happy weekend!
@sugarmuser Thanks, Sharon.

@sjouk Aw, thanks so much, kind lady!!
Thanks, kindly, my friends! Hope you are having a great weekend so far!
@thirtysevenways Thank you, Andy!! I was pleased to catch these yellow dudes. It's nice how they added interest to a flower shot.
@rennes I know. So excited. My lens wasn't doing great capturing the details of the sunflower (I am starting to feel the need for an upgrade), but the bird and bee really made the shot!!
