One thing that I will miss about our neighborhood is the wonderful line of trees that leads you in. It's beautiful and shady in the summer, flowering in the spring and glowing with color in the fall. I like the naked sticks in the winter, too, especially when they are dusted with snow.
I decided to shoot just the canopy this year. One day I will have a wider angle lens which will allow me to better capture the whole scene, but there was all sorts of junk that I didn't feel like editing out if I shot lower (street signs, for sale signs and such).
I just felt like taking in and enjoying the color today. Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments, lately. I feel so far behind in my commenting and responding. Please forgive me. Life is changing and somewhat nutty now.
it is a lovely canopy of color indeed. SO nice to see the entrance of Autumn. Can't wait for it to get here....maybe by November....moving can be hectic for sure...no, not CAN BE, but IS.
@roseolivia We are getting loads of rain and gray here, too. I don't like those kinds of days as much. They get to me and make me blue after awhile. It was grey here, but I brightened it up with editing. We say autumn and fall both. Funny how it has two names, but I can't think of any other seasons that do? Thanks, Rachel!
