The Frigid Pathway through the Forest by alophoto

The Frigid Pathway through the Forest

I had a girls day out yesterday for a couple hours while the kids napped. I went out with a girlfriend from my yoga class, who is also a writer, has a similar (but model up) camera to mine, and is even weird and creepy. I am weird and creepy, too, so I get along well with that:).

It was nice to go out for coffee/tea and a little snack for me and then a cold, but nice walk along the bike path for photos. The snow is melting, but it was still pretty...and pretty stinkin' cold. Wish I'd worn a hat!! I was the unhatter instead.

Time out with friends is the best. I need more of that...need to make it happen.

Speaking of new friends, check this out and join us for the fun... http://365project.org/madhatters/365
Nice! Love the way the trees are all bending in over the road as if to protect it from something!

It's true ... friends share a different energy to family and chat is liberating and free with good ones! Spent four happy hours with jo in uk and need more of that for sure! Love these golden colours!

My goodness! That's a beautiful tree lined lane! I dream of finding a place like this, but haven't found it yet. I'll keep looking, but only when it's warmer.
Tonight's my "girl's night out." Craft night with my ladies, that is. Once a month, first Monday night from 8:30 or 9:00 til we decide it's over. Crafting, food and most importantly... good conversation. I'm glad you had some time with a friend!

@roseolivia I so need to do some fairytale shots down here. Hmmm...
February 5th, 2014
@smellychelli Thanks so much, Michelle. I think that the great looking warm light was from the processing. It was pretty gray and dismal, but still looked cool. I was happy with this different kind of processing, though for a change.
