This week, I hung up a mirror that I my parents just gave me. One that was gathering dust in their basement. One that was on the wall of my childhood home for all of my growing up years.
Home really feels like home now.
And I think that I am in need of some major selfie therapy. Sheesh, my February was selfie filled. For the record, I am really not that into myself.
Mirror, mirror on the wall...whose the most narcissistic photographer of all? Shoot, maybe in March I will be less into me.
:) nice to see you again! :) I'm glad you hung up the mirror... It's always good to keep something around that reminds you of your childhood. Very nice personal touch
well, there are two squirrels, a dog and a biker who isn't you. so you didn't actually fill the month with selfie. okay, now you have to do it in march. are you kidding me? i love oval mirrors, i think they're sexy!
I think it would be narcissistic if you were only to post selfies of yourself looking glamorous without a hair out of place. You do have some selfies like that, but you are also happy to post shots of yourself messing about with your kids. That's not vanity - just self-confidence. I hate pictures of myself, but I don't think that is a sign of humility on my part, just insecurity.
@dh Thanks for your great comments. Yes, I am fine posting myself silly and not put together. That is me most of the time anyway. Thank you again! And for the record, the more I do, the less insecure I feel.
A very unique selfie!
