I went ziplining today with a group of adventurous and hard core ladies from my church. It was awesome to make some new friends who are like me. And I brought my point and shoot along as an afterthought. So glad I did, as I was the group photographer.
It's this one for me - there a real sense of the height and the drop of the left hand side - don't like heights and this one scares the living daylights out of me.
This one is definitely my favorite....you certainly get a sense of the height from looking at the trunks of the trees that seem to go forever before they touch the ground! There is more of a sense of vertigo, whereas the other one seems more grounded!
Definitely this one. The height and stretch of the path into the distance and more emphasised. Fab photo. This would be so scary to walk over with the lack of rails. Don't know if my feet would move!
Love this POV and the lines are wonderful. I have a hard time walking on these...my balance is really off. Love how you are taken visually right into the photo. Excellent capture Amanda. FAV
you know, i never would've thought "ziplining" and "ladies frrom church" would go together. :-) there's a different image in my mind. very nice shot, kiddo.
@summerfield They were some kick butt cool ladies! I'm so excited for our next outing. We discussed skiing, snowshoeing, rock climbing, horseback riding and more zipping!! I think that we may kayak, too.
Sounds like a blast and what a pretty view you had up there. Yes you would be kicking yourself without the camera. I like both shots, no wonder you had a hard time choosing.
@lynnz Thanks, Lynn!!
