Had a splendid time at the annual Butterfly Exhibit today. It was our 3rd time going and pretty awesome fun!
All 3 kids got to hold butterflies. And this kid (someone random) had one on her face. I asked her for the shot and then asked if she could look cross eyed for me. So love it when people cooperate for photos:).
Freaking AWESOME!!! I don't know what it is, but butterflies always seem to be attracted to kids!! I love to go to the butterfly centers! We have one about 12 miles from us but it's in Callaway Gardens and you have to pay a high price, per person to get in. Of course you can stay all day and there is a lot more there to see. So we only go about once a year! This is just toooooo awesome and I love the details!! FAV!
Thanks all for your lovely comments and faves on this shots. There are some that you just know are your favorites from a day and this was my that I was most excited about. That's why I do things like post Mondays shot on Friday...I am so impatient and have things burning a hole in my pocket. And such a big bummer that I didn't offer to get her contact info. Tons of people were approaching her for shots. I had snapped some on the sly and then got brave when I saw the others. She just looked at me regular and then I thought, well that's ok, but gosh, how cool would it be if she looked at it all cross eyed. So glad she played along. Maybe I will get bolder with asking adults for a shot and for them to pose how I want them to. Thanks again. Happy to have been so fortunate as to have seen a cool thing like this!
@bobfoto You've made me second guess myself. I loved the b&w compared to the color. It just popped more, but I should have played more and even tried SC (funny of you to mention that as you weren't a fan if memory serves me right). Dang it. Oh well.
