We hiked down our neighborhood trail to the creek below and then down the creek about a 1/2 mile or so over the rocky bottom. There were parts where it was waist deep. Luckily we were all in bathing suits. But I had my camera bag on my shoulder.
A time or two I had to duck under low branches and Mike helped me out with my camera. He is a good man. Today is his birthday. He's 44 today, a great age...aged to perfection:). We are going out tonight to celebrate him.
Anywho, this shot was tough to get. I may have slipped and fell. I got my camera bag wet, my strap, but the body and lens I kept dry thankfully.
We had a fun time creekin' and how cool that we can do something like this practically in our own back yard (or neighborhood anyway). Must get there again.
@soboy5 Nah, handheld and crouching in the water. I was bad enough carrying my whole camera bag along. I knew it'd be pretty though and I'd kick myself without it.
Beautiful capture and love those leaning trees!! A very magical place!!!
After listening to the song, I'd rather be high, high, high!!! LOL LOL It makes my back hurt thinking about it!!!
Happy birthday to Mike, first off. What a guy, to help with the "carrying of the gear." Next, I am enjoying the water flow and the crouching perspective. Sounds like a rough journey! Now, after viewing the video, I am laughing about the entire thing. Who can lean like that???

Happy birthday to Mike too!
