My kids are cool. They love playing outside and especially with the nature around us. They make nests out of leaves and twigs, and this week, they build a wigwam with sticks found in the woods and the big piles of fall leaves we've been dumping in the backyard.
They've been setting it up for days and it has occupied hours of their time. Even despite all the leave they are tracking in the yard, their wonderful creation makes me smile. I even fit in it. SO cool...
Only thing they still need is a deerskin floor. Emily told me this. Anyone have an extra deerskin lying around?:)
It's great that the children can use their imagination to get outside and play as so many these days play with buttons on phones and computers. Nice capture
Wonderful -- great for them to be able to play in the great outdoors ,developing skills and using their imagination !! - reminds me of my childhood when in summer we played outside from morning till night .
This is just wonderful! They look quite happy and proud of their accomplishment. I love seeing kids these days enjoying good, old-fashioned fun. Natures provides an endless source of entertainment!
What a great sight, to see kids playing and getting creative. I loved doing stuff like this. My brother and I built a "log cabin" in the woods in NC - spent hours working on it. Fond memories. Your kids will have the same with this creation.
