Frosty is a little chubby. His body was meant to be his bottom, but I couldn't get 3 segments to work. The snow was not the right consistency. Too fluffy and wouldn't really hold together well. I had it in my head to make a snowman and didn't want to give up, but this is the best I was able to get, which is truthfully not so bad for this snowman novice.
I made him, used edible parts but for the stick arms and mouth and then ran an errand to the camera store. It was my first time there, I was thoroughly overwhelmed and left with nothing. What I had set out to get was more than I had on my Christmas gift card. Maybe I should get a job there...wonder what their discounts are? Imagine getting lenses for 50% off?:)
When I came home, poor Frosty couldn't see or smell. The critters must have gotten his almond eyes and carrot nose. Sadly, his smile was gone, too.
@mrslaloggie The snow may have been added in for effect. I just needed the snow:). Thanks. Just a little snowman that looks like a child made it. I never made them until a few years ago:).
I like how you framed the snowman with those strong lines, and that you shot it when it was still snowing, too. Did you now that Japanese snowmen do not have noses?
