Busy day. Microchurch this morning at a neighbors house. We normally go to our regular church, but the church is getting so big that we are trying a new microchurch thing (small gathering of church families in someone's home) once a month to lighten the load at the actual church. It's the first time and I'm bringing the snacks and coffee.
Tonight we are having some of our first friends in the area over to dinner. Sweet family friends. I'm making chili on this chilly day!
The rest of the day will be spent preparing for tonight and trying to enjoy some family time together. And tomorrow we have off for a holiday. A nice long 4 day weekend for the kids and I and 3 days for Michael.

@amandal I don't think so.... He based over with you in America now. Actually, actually I may be lying. Yes yes I have seen him live. Certainly listened to his wife Beth alive. Heard of soul surviour? It's a HUGE youth event every summer. Went a few times in my late teens, camping in a huge show ground and having a 5 day event. Now I think about it I'm fairly sure he led worship there. So yes but ages and ages ago...
