Today, we are actually covered with the wicked cold white stuff. More snow. I thought, hoped we were done for the season. Guess not.
Just a dusting really, but come on. Get the memo earth...it's springtime.
Hope that the cold white stuff doesn't mess up the buds. Glad I got some photos beforehand if so and glad that spring came early so we could enjoy it for a bit.
Thanks so much for your wonderful kindness with my Amish series and shots of my lil cowgirl in spring. I had a fun fun photo time last week.
And today I am smiling big...Michael is home again after a week away on business. All is right in my world again, but for the darn snow:).
Strange to think that you had spring in March and winter April. This is a gorgeous image with the beautiful shallow DOF and great detail in the flowers.
I love these. I hope the cold white stuff does not kill off the glory of this! I read your post yesterday (and I have to say I have been trying to follow your constant name changing thing--you have definitely made me wonder who this "incognito" is and such...haha). Hang in. Times get tough. The best thing you can also learn (not that you asked for my advice) is to start saying very firm "no's" to yourself and others when you're stretched. I like saying no even. I still overstretch myself--that's a given -- it's in my DNA, but I feel really comfortable saying to folks that I don't have the time and I don't justify it. Does that make sense? It may not be the issue you were dealing with, but it sounded like you were exhausted from "doing it all." Delegate and say no. Feel free to say no. :)
What a lovely image! I have to agree with you – – it's springtime and the snow needs to go away. Here in Chicago, the rooftops and ground are covered in white again.
