Missing a friend that I heard passed away yesterday. Carole Imes, a sweet lady I met here on 365, who was from my hometown. Turned out I had gone to school with her son and remembered him. Carole finally succumbed to cancer after months of struggling with the wretched disease. So sad and heartbroken for her family, but happy for Carole to be pain free. Praying for them and missing the sweet friend and her lovely photos and sweet comments on here. She reminded me that my hometown was beautiful.
This was a beautiful sight I got to come upon yesterday. Things pass away and new life comes...the cycle of life. Sweet to find 3 eggs in the nest. 3 eggs in my favorite color. Mama Robin must be proud. She flew off just moments before allowing me to shoot from above blind, hoping to catch baby birds or eggs in the nest.
A great shot and you are right, people pass and new life starts. Cancer is such a horrible disease. My SIL is week 11 still in bed in the nursing home. Sorry for the loss of Carol.
Sorry you have lost a friend. Cancer is a bitch and the treatments are often worse. Your photo is a lovely representation of new beginnings. How high did you need to climb to get this photo?
