It was hot in the city. We were sweaty and tired. On our way back after exploring for hours, we were leaving Millennium Park and the cool fountains there. The fountains where the kids were running, cooling off.
As we walked away, Mike saw a young college aged kid with a Mexican flag around his neck like a cape. He was dripping wet. Mike commented something like it must have been fun and the guy said, "Come on, you do it. We'll go with you!" I encouraged, too. "Yeah, do it Mike, go in!"
And so he did.
Afterwards, as we walked back with him drenched, it seriously limited our dinner options. Not many places would be pleased with a soggy squishy customer.
We did find a pizza place with a cool outdoor patio closer to where we were staying and luckily he was mostly dried off, too!
