This is my cooking buddy. She's right by me, eyes glued to me whenever I'm in the kitchen. Hoping, praying for a dropped ingredient or spilled sauce.
Any sound of a wrapper crinkling or the fridge opening and bam...she's there.
Now that the house is quiet with the kids gone, it's nice to have my furry kid's company.
First day back for kids was wonderful...loved teachers, nice to see old and meet new friends...so far so good:). And my time was rather nice, too. I even laid in the sun for a bit. Bliss.
