I just returned from a whirlwind trip to our nation's capital, Washington DC. I was there for business.
We did arrive in the afternoon the day before our career fair and I was able to sightsee for the afternoon with my coworker.
We did a quick tour of Arlington National Cemetery and the National Mall (not a shopping place but a space that contains lots of National monuments and memorials including this one...the Jefferson Memorial). I was standing where a cherry tree would frame the building perfectly, but we were a few weeks early for the blooms (though they were starting to come out in the cemetery).
A great trip, but so glad to be home again. Off to yoga to stretch my aching body.
A beautiful minimalist image. the water looks like hammered metal with just enough of the right kind of light on it and your timing is impeccable to catch that bird flying towards the monument
I love the natural lines
