Playing Lego in the Light

Legos have come so far. They have some amazing sets for girls now. As a kid, I had no interest in Lego, but were I a little girl now, I'd probably love them, too.

Clara has been really struggling healthwise lately between seasonal allergies and other weird junk.

It was sweet to see her happy and herself yesterday, having a little quiet play time on her own. Loved that she picked a warm patch of sunshine to play in, too...like a puppy dog.

I'm glad she's on the mend and enjoying her toys. My daughter just loves her lego, more than my boys like theirs. She creates so much from it, pulls it all apart and starts over. What a nice sunny spot she has found.

Such a cute shot. My favorite toys as a kid were Lincoln Logs and Tinker Toys (I don't think we had Legos back then). But, I loved to build stuff.

Awww poor girl, I really feel for her. I was always the kid who had a ton of time off school due to my allergies and asthma and now I have all the food allergies to contend with too. I'm glad she's able to take her mind off it by playing xx
