Yesterday I was hiking around Cincy Nature Center with my sweet friend, Emily. She's my hiking buddy. We were doing one of my last two trails that I need to finish to complete my hiking passport there. I was with her when she completed hers last fall.
Can't wait to get my t-shirt when I succeed.
Anywho, we came upon the "by appointment only" Raptor Center and sweet Emily got us in with her sweet talking. She is completely authentic, not a smooth talker...just a sweet nice lady.
It was so cool to see these gorgeous creatures.
Even, Earl, the turkey vulture above, was pretty. I liked her red head. She had a lot of personality and really seemed to like having visitors around...dancing for us and such.
So years ago, they thought she was a boy, named her Earl and one day she laid and egg...turns out Earl was a girl!
