A loca friend saw me post the photo of Elsa's fit of rage the other day and requested that I take a shot of a mostly frozen fountain near home.
Luckily, we were out and about and I had my camera and Mike was willing to stop for a second while I took some photos.
Last night, we were flying past it again (in a big hurry) and since it has warmed up a bit, it was mostly all melted with a few floating icebergs around the middle. It looked really cool.
Have a great day and thanks for the " Face Book" love!!!
Great capture and nice of Mike to stop. Dan does not always want to as we are in a rush a lot too. Brrr, cold there. Dreary cold day here after a couple days of rain. Did you see that So Ca has mudslides where the fires were just put out? So sad!
@alophoto Sure has. Sad to see people have died and so much damage. It was a bad 2017 for so many and now a tragic start to 2018. Hopefully things will settle down in the near future.
They haven't turned the water off yet on this fountain?!? What are they thinking? Are fountains so iconic there that they are afraid tourists will stay away in droves during the winter months? :-) Nice juxtaposition of the fountain and Chili's in the background.

Sorry, I can't say more, I'm freezing after seeing your photo. ;-)
