Time for my Sunday trip to Iceland and this photo brings back many memories of a wonderful afternoon.
This lady caught my eye as we stopped for our afternoon Fika of Thermos coffee at a wayside stop. She was sitting in the sunshine outside the door to her farmhouse across the road from us. She came across to us and after a brief conversation about where we were from, she invited us to come in. It turned out to be a Sunday meeting of the local quilting group with an amazing afternoon tea spread. Our Thermos coffee didn't quite make the grade! We had a wonderful afternoon sharing food and stories.
