I think that is a really interesting question, Babs, and depends on how long into the future these street art pieces last or will be kept. Some of them are of a particular time and place. An ongoing discussion my husband and I have is about forms of public art and their merits. Melbourne has a lot of sculptural pieces and we have been talking about how sculptures are around for a long time whereas these murals and street art paintings are more ephemeral.
That's part of the reason I photograph them as they may not stand the test of time. @onewing
'On a rocket to the fourth dimension
Total self awareness the intention
My mind is as clear as country air
I feel my flesh, all colors mesh'
I thought your comment was a great follow on from the mural title and possibly what the artist meant, given it was painted during the first long lockdown here in 2020.
Interestingly, given my earlier comments about graffiti, this one was painted over some disfiguring graffiti on the building. @terryliv
