A bush chorus

Silo art trails are now a tourist feature of northern Victoria. The Tungamah Silos, though, were the first painted silos in north east Victoria. They were painted by WA artist Sobrane Simcock in 2018–2019, and feature a dancing Brolga on the tall silo on the right, and on the other, a Pink Galah, a hummingbird, an owl, a sulphur-crested cockatoo, two blue fairy wrens and a white ibis.

Tungamah is in the Goulburn Valley of north-eastern Victoria on the banks of the Boosey Creek. These silos are fully operational and privately owned.

This photo was taken before Xmas on a trip through my family history.
