Tonight we decided to tackle the crowds and the traffic and headed into the city to view Vivid Sydney around Circular Quay. Very lucky to find street parking for a mere $8 we headed through the CBD towards the Quay. Shoulder to shoulder with the other (what seemed like a thousand) people we shuffled through the streets. We walked all along the foreshore looking at all the beautiful lights - the Opera House being the most spectacular. My poor knee ( it has been suffering a bit lately) is now twice the size and a tad achy but it was well worth it. These are some of the Opera House photos - still not the greatest but way better than last year so I was happy. Viewing big will be better :)
@taffy thank you - it is not as good as it could be - it is very late here but couldn't get to sleep but didn't have the energy or concentration to size the smaller ones more uniformly :)
I know the feeling, off to the rheumatologist for my check up in an hour or so, right pain in the neck (literally!!!!!!!) We so take good health for granted until things change.
