I love currawongs, we have a couple that turn up here occasionally when they are feeding their young, but unfortunately the last couple were feeding channel billed cuckoos because the cuckoo had killed their babies and replaced the nest with their own offspring. I hate channel billed cuckoos they are the noisiest and ugliest birds I have ever seen. The poor currawongs were beside themselves trying to feed the huge aggressive babies. Rant over, ha ha.
@onewing hahaha I know what you mean about the Channel Billed Cuckoos - I have mixed feelings about them and it is sad when you see a poor maggie trying to keep up the feeding regime - I do find them interesting looking birds though
