The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts centre in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Situated on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the facility is adjacent to the Sydney central business district and the Royal Botanic Gardens, between Sydney and Farm Coves.
Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, the facility formally opened on 20 October 1973.

I was almost going to replace the sky becausre I wondered if it was too busy but it just didn't look good without it - always when I zoom in on it Daryl I think Armadillo lol
Such a sad story about how Jorn was treated by the NSW govt . . and that he has never seen the finished product! It is indeed a marvel though! I love how ur definition has brought out all the litttle tiles . .
i have seen the sydney opera building in photographs so many times, but never at this angle. clever take and wise to leave the sky as is as it made for a strong contrast with the details of the roof. aces!
