A gorgeous capture and edit -- beautiful and sharp focus on the winged visitor ( whatever it may be ) and a stunning effect on the rose petals and the water droplets -- A big fav for me Annie !
I believe this is a skipper, closely related to a butterfly. They are small, sometimes even really tiny, but their eyes are big in proportion and their antennae are hooked. Nice shot! I see them in my garden rarely, but more often at my aunt's house in Alabama.
