This week will be all about Berrima.
The building behind is/was the White Horse Inn - it operated as accommodation and a restaurant but, from the little information I could find, it closed a few years ago. It was also a commercial bank.
It sits on the rise of the Old Hume Highway, a reminder of the early settlement of Berrima when convicts were locked in its cellar at night.
Builder: Edward Davies
Constructed: 1834-1850
@onewing I must admit I do love the refreshing clean of the highlands in the cooler seasons but don't think I would like living there through winter - I do love me the sunshine and water
