this is the other problem with the camera - sometimes what is on its screen DOES accurately represent what I see when I get it on my PC

trouble is, I don't know when it's going to do which!

It’s all down to the calibration of the sensor in the camera and the colour settings on your screen, there are two was around this problem first is to set the computer colour format in display settings to match your camera or more complicated calibrate your monitor or just live with it:)

@pcoulson yes, I was going to look for something on the camera - but it's the lack of consistency about its 'choices' that is irritating
