heron - taken through a window - I'm not going to try to open it when they are so flighty!

No time to fuss really, as I'm having my breakfast, getting ready for work.

I haven't seen a heron perched here before - though I look out onto this scene "all the time".

Its being there also drew my attention to the branch. I must look back to see if it looked like that before!

@casablanca I felt almost disoriented by the whole scene - the trees looking primeval - and that "never before seen" branch!

@anniesue I am half expecting a dinosaur to appear….. or Sir Lancelot…. or Robin Hood! Funny how you can see something often seen for the first time, as it were.

@casablanca I may post a comparison shot if I find one easily - it seems likely that the heron changed the shape of everything around him, just by being there :-)
