Got word early this morning that my father was unresponsive. We left right away for home but he was gone before I got there. I’m so grateful he is no longer suffering as his last couple days were rough on him. I’m also grateful that I never left without telling him I loved him, and he the same. It seems a bit surreal.
Oh Becky. So sorry. I understand everything you have said above. It is surreal and you will miss him even though you know the end has been rough on him. Sending hugs. And what beautiful flowers. What a wonderful, supportive husband.
