watermelon

We haven’t had watermelon in ages, so I got sucked into buying one. It’s a beautiful red, juicy, but the flavor is mediocre at best. Maybe it’ll taste better after it’s chilled, I like my melons chilled rather than room temperature. 🤞

It looks fantastic! Hope it was better when chilled. I find they get sweeter when they’ve been cut for a while too - have no idea why??

@seacreature @narayani it was a bit better... I always thought it was because it was chilled...could be Narayani’s theory all along. Will have to try both ways next watermelon.
