Yes she is, but the 6 hour ride in her carrier (the one she uses as a bed and comfy place at home, so she'll feel secure) to our summer house on the Down East coast of Maine will not be her favorite way to spend part of Friday. We'll be there three weeks. I hope you will enjoy the coastal images.

One of our favorite vacations with family was when we rented a house in Machias (well, right outside of town, close to Roque Bluffs SP). We loved it there and I can't wait to see your upcoming pictures . If you are near Machias, I highly recommend Helen's Restaurant. Get the pie (any really, but especially the blueberry or raspberry), it's awesome! Have a great vacation!
@hoosierhokie Did you know that Helen's burned to the ground last year!!! I cried when i heard the news bulletin, even here in Massachusetts. BUT, they have rebuilt and I can't wait to eat there and have PIE! Our house is in Machiasport. Roques Bluff is one of our favorite spots along with Jasper Beach and Starboard creek. @berelaxed - Betsy, I had "liked" Helen's after we'd visited and saw the news of the fire on Facebook. I've been watching their rebuild since (we even bought Helen's t-shirts to help out). Have a slice of pie for me. :o)
@hoosierhokie My brother and sister in law said it's great, beautifully rebuilt and the pie , well we all know about the pie, I'm fond of Coconut cream as well as the berry pies. My mother loved the chocolate cream, I always think of her when I see it and remember how she loved it. I shall think of you and promise to take a shot of the pie case! x Betsey
