An orchid I have had for years bloomed this morning after being flowerless for years. I've been watching the spike and the buds with eager expectation, wondering what the color would be. It seemed like it would be a lime green, but the beautiful pink center was a surprise.
We had a 4 mile forest-bathing walk this afternoon, it was a good stress reducer as the virus fears ramp up here. The weather was lovely as we walked along the Indian Head River. Just listening to the wonderful water noise as we walked among the pines and beeches surrounding the trail was so relaxing. Now, we'll watch the latest Outlander episode before heading to bed.
