It's been another surreal day in the United States of America, governed by the Orange Divider.. on steroids. Imagine that, it's pretty shocking even after years of his chaos.

Merry will have a regular, restful day tomorrow. She didn't know she had a weight check appointment at her wonderful vet clinic tomorrow, but of course I did. When they called this morning I assumed it was just a reminder. It wasn't, it was to tell us that the appointment had to be cancelled due to a family member of an employee falling ill with Covid-19. They will be closed at least two days, or until they have more information and have taken proper precautions. Merry is fine and eating perfectly with no weight worries, so waiting is no problem. I was struck by how this mirrors the lack of precautions taken by the inhabitant of our White House. Following scientific, and medical advice is the only way we will ever emerge from this nightmare.
I'll get off my soapbox. Hopefully more and more people are giving up on him and this chaotic nightmare will be over.

I fear for the second tier when someone takes it home to their spouse or children. That happened here when there was a big wedding over 100 miles from here and people went and brought it back to a couple places including a nursing home here 7 died, and to the county jail in the town next to me and those people took it home to their family and the minister was from a church here and he continued holding services and infected his church members only they refused to help with tracing. Scary stuff
Oh, how I understand your soapbox. I could go on and on, it is truly appalling what constitutes "leadership" in this country right now. Let's just hope and pray there are enough sane people who will this time vote that *** out of office. Meanwhile, this is a supurrb image--love it!
