Winter Reflections

It's a winter wonderland outside with bitterly cold temps, but bright sunshine. We had over 2 feet/60cm of snow from the historic blizzard. Now, the massive digging out begins. Our power stayed on, the birds were well fed and every window view yesterday brought awe and wonder.

I added a watercolor effect to this shot after venturing out to make some photos of Mother Nature's white blanketed world. The frigid air is filled with birdsongs and the light just dazzling.

For the Record,
This day came in with the peace that only comes after a major snowfall. It's the picture perfect calm before the digging out begins.

All hands thankful that our power stayed on to keep us warm.
Very glad it was a good outcome all round, considering.

We only got a little less than a foot. Kept our power on. Beautiful driving around today. Good capture
