Bey was my childhood name & I am still called by this name by my friends from home (Wales )& a few here in Shrops Today we went with my son to Ellesmere for a walk around the lake I did it the easy way I am afraid as I am not too good with my arthritic conditions at the moment !! If I had no exercise ,it was lovely being out enjoying the sun, fresh air & nature around me .
Beryl; I love the sharpness and greenery in this!! Very nice portrait of you as well!! I am not one that likes to be in front of the camera so to me this shows bravery and courage!! Nicely done!!
Sorry to hear you are not feeling your best, but it is nice to see you out without a winter coat! Alfie looks a very patient dog. Quite happy to wait for the photo shoot!
@sturnus thank you Carol the weather was great ,but the wind was quite keen & I had to don my coat pretty soon - it's amazing how the cold winds catches you when just sitting still on the scooter !! @maggiemae Ah !! Maggie , most probably I was still muttering instructions & Gary is there with a quick click -over & done with in seconds !! @hillymay thanks Hilary- never thought of the patriotic colours !! would only need white to give the Welsh flag colours !!!

Beryl, I was wondering how you were getting on. Sorry you are still not feeling great with the arthritis. I love the touches of cheerful red, even Alfie's harness is red! 'Bey' is nice!
@elisasaeter@quietpurplehaze Thank you both -I am hoping things will get better But if not -must make the best of it !! Bey started when I was a toddler who couldn't pronounce her own name -so Bey stuck with me ! When I was doing my teacher's training my Coll. friend was also a Beryl- she had always been known as Boo , So we were known as Boo & Bey We still communicate at CHRISTMAS & always as Boo & Bey :-)
@kbuehl Thanks for your kind words -one has to keep active in mind even if the body not always wants to do much !! Carry on regardless --as they say even at times it's difficult !!
@eniaral After a drab winter it's nice to wear a cheerful colour - but alas I had to put on a coat as the wind was quite cold . The constant pain is quite demoralising & disabling but one has to count ones blessings -- it could be worse !! Thank you Larraine for your kind comments :-))
@thresheg Great to be out & about Graham - even if not under my own steam !! I felt greatly liberated as it is the 1st time I have been out to one of my favourite haunts this year !!
