Never forget my daughter spoiling the Thomas experience for my son who was about 5 at the time. She said "look it is a train with a plastic face stuck on". She hasn't changed. Cruel girl. Lovely shot, looks as if it is straight out of a Thomas Book.
Thank you all so much -- seeing the steam train is one thing ,but seeing Thomas really brings the child out in one self !! and like the many people crowding on the bridge over the Dee river looking down on the railway station & Thomas I had my camera on the ready !!A real attraction for the children & the young at heart . @lucypics Lucy ,,things like this often happens in sibling rivalry !! @gamelee I was so pleased I caught the smoke As he started off I expected him to come forward but it reversed back along the line so this was the only chance I had on the smoke !! @pippinfur Hi thanks !!
This brings back memories my children were utterly obsessed with Thomas the Tank and would sit and watch for hours if I let them. Funny they always used to put it on when they were ill, even though they were probably a bit old for it - I think they liked the familiarity of the music (drove me nuts!!)
@yrhenwr Thanks -yes I was there at the right moment ,I had expected a second shot -but instead of coming forward Thomas went in reverse !! & the covered bridge destroyed the smoke effect !!
