The Oak Tree by beryl

The Oak Tree

The grain has been harvester --the Oak tree stands proud , I sincerely hope the developers will not gain permission to build on this beautiful land I pray that this will not be the last time I will see this beautiful end of summer sight from my bedroom window
Gosh I hope not Beryl, what an awful thing that would be. Fingers crossed for you and the beautiful oak tree

A lovely scene and like your framing - it's a speciality of yours and maybe it's from your artist's eye?!

Treasure each moment Beryl & I do hope you see this picture again & again over the coming years!! Beautiful!! Get some protesters to tie themselves to the trees...as good a cause as other things they protest about!

Hope you don't lose this lovely view Beryl.. We have farmland at the back of our house and I would be so unhappy if it was developed.. It's protected green belt land so hopefully it never will be.

Thank you all for your friendly concern over *MY* tree !! The proposed housing was an out of the blue shock.as it is a green field area and a view including the Cricket Ground ,rolling fields, hedgerows ,mature oaks & parkland while there is other brownfield sites earmarked for developments in the area I hope other residence will rise to the challenge !! --we must not be complacent !!( sorry about the moan --nice to get it off my chest !! )

No you definitely need to air your views, if we could all sign a petition for you we would! Such a beautiful view and there is no way they can chop down a fantastic old tree like this.
