A word for Jan was sleep --so ,I had to wait until G.dropped off to sleep -- a frequent occurrence when he watches TV late at night !

I bet if you changed the channel he would wake right up. My Dad used to do that when we were kids, we'd think it was a great time to change the channel (back when we only had 3 or 4 and had to do it the old fashioned way) and he would instantly wake up and say "I was watching that"...we would all get so mad!! hahah..thanks for the memory!
