I have had a lovely day and am chuffed with myself !! for the first time in three years I have been able to drive up to Wales and have been able to walk a little in the country side with only one crutch !! I have finished the antibiotics I have been on since mid feb ! I still have my leg dressed twice a week and have a visit again to the consultant a week tomorrow !!Although dog tired tonight, things are looking good !!
We saw these Ponies when we had a little stop in Llanwddyn before we got to Lake Vyrnwy This pony was swishing his tail furiously -I expect he was disturbed by flies
Wonderful achievement Beryl...after all you have been through......so glad you have your wheels back.
A lovely hoot to remember your day too....sleep well tonight!
A lovely capture Beryl, Did you do the driving?I only do short distant s these .days .I hope all goes well when you see the consultant , you seem to have had a awful time with your knee.
I am so pleased to hear you are able to get a bit further with your driving and walking. A super capture of the swish it looked a lovely sunny day for you.
@quietpurplehaze Thanks Hazel -I had nearly thought that my life would continue to be just in a wheel chair as in the last 3 years --and my faith was waning !! so you can imagine the joy I feel in being able to get on with life again -- be it slowly at the moment !
That's really nice, Beryl. I guess you have to give to get. For some this is purely a photo website and I find no problem with that but for me personally it means so much more. Off to photography group this afternoon - wonder what the others will think of my 'people' shots - the subject for this month!

It's strange in a way, Beryl, because I've never met you but I do feel that I 'know' you and I just felt very happy reading your post.
