Welsh Poppy by beryl

Welsh Poppy

A dull and murky weather on this mad black Friday - I think I shall stay at home !!!

The Welsh Poppy willingly self seeds around the garden and they are so hardy and will survive all weathers - this one was still looking perky after the heavy frost of a couple of days ago !
Thank you all for looking in ,your lovely comments and favs and for helping to get my Viburnum Tinus on to the pp
This is a cheerful flower in dull weather

So bright and cheerful. Not long ago I just thought it was a poppy, but @virtualbrownie told me it was a Welsh one. They're so lovely. Just opposite our house, against the dry stone wall there two, three blooming again.
