The book clad walls of our local pub gives you the feeling of being in a Library with , of course the addition of very good food !

@happypat Yes it is quite a pleasant establishment -- our local Weatherspoons in Wellington (Shrops)and called The William Withering after the English botanist , geologist , chemist , physician , and the discoverer of digitalis He was born and bred in Wellington 17-03-1740 and died 6-Oct- 1799 -- bit of info !!

@beryl I should have known it was a Wetherspoons Beryl......they usually have lots of character & are large inside. We have a new one in Preston but I haven't seen it yet....can't remember it's name either.

Nice to know this is a pub! They expect you to stay for a long time. In the States, they seem to have coffee shops in all the book shops which is an excellent idea, as well as a space for children to play!
