Berries ! by beryl

Berries !

Forgotten the name of this plant which has an early spring foliage of spotted spear shaped leaves and a lily shaped flower ! I am sure someone can help me !
A damp and dismal Bank Holiday Monday after a very rainy night !! I can hardly believe that we are at the last day of August . !! Autumn is with us with cooler weather, shorter days and longer nights ! We could do with a glorious sunny Indian Summer this coming September -- we can only hope !!
Thank you al for kindly getting both my " Black eyed Suzy " and "Allium Seed-head " onto the TT and PP -- delighted and cheered me up no end --thank you all so much !

P.S .-- with a little nudge from Tony I I have looked up the plant -- it is a relative of the Cuckoo pint with the Latin name Aram Italicum Tresahore
Lovely berry capture and a great colour. Is it a Naked Lady? ooooh

We have loads of these in our garden....they look attractive but I was told they are seriously poisonous ....I think one berry can kill a child! I try & remember to get rid of them when they get to the berry stage.

@tremerryn This is so beautiful , thank you for sharing - I love the wonderful music of Andre Rieu and his orchestra and a very fitting title "And the Waltz goes on " & a glimpse of my fellow Welshman - Anthony Hopkins !

@tonygig Thank you Tony for putting me on the right track -I have a clump of the Cuckoo Pint which is a self setter but this one is a cultivated variety and have just looked it up it is a
Arum Italicum Tresahore -- the leaves are bigger and more robust , green with creamy white veins ! So that one ids sorted ( until I forget the name again !! lol )
