Forgotten the name of this plant which has an early spring foliage of spotted spear shaped leaves and a lily shaped flower ! I am sure someone can help me !
A damp and dismal Bank Holiday Monday after a very rainy night !! I can hardly believe that we are at the last day of August . !! Autumn is with us with cooler weather, shorter days and longer nights ! We could do with a glorious sunny Indian Summer this coming September -- we can only hope !!

P.S .-- with a little nudge from Tony I I have looked up the plant -- it is a relative of the Cuckoo pint with the Latin name Aram Italicum Tresahore
We have loads of these in our garden....they look attractive but I was told they are seriously poisonous ....I think one berry can kill a child! I try & remember to get rid of them when they get to the berry stage.
Its a woodland plant called Arum Mculatum, it as lots of common names ( Cuckoo Pint ) is one. Wonderful capture Beryl, this also grows in my Garden...Fav
