Horrible wet day ; dark , miserable and pouring down with rain !! and I feel worn out and tired before I start -- so an easy day except I shall force myself to flat ice the Christmas cakes !!

Indeed & he looks quite a character! Such terrible weather Beryl, I don't think I have ever known such rain. I think we are pretty much cut off to go east tonight. Hopefully will have improved by morning. I haven't heard if the river banks have held today. Cake icing sounds a good idea!
